Job description:

Warehouse and delivery clerks are passionate about the road and human relations. They optimize the warehouse, from receiving materials to placing them in the store. The ideal candidate must be organized, hardworking, and have good physical strength. In addition, they ensure the safe transport of our customers' goods in their region. Under the supervision of the warehouse manager, the warehouse clerk ensures sound warehouse and inventory management.

Key Responsibilities

·Support merchandise reception;

·Prepare orders;

·Organize and classify merchandise in the warehouse;

·Ensure the cleanliness of the warehouse;

·Assist truck drivers with unloading during deliveries;

·Keep track of material inflows and outflows;

·Loading and unloading materials;

·Deliver materials on time and according to the itinerary;

·Examine the condition of the merchandise with the customer and have invoices legibly signed;

·If necessary, use a hand truck or other equipment to load or unload materials;

·Daily check the vehicle's fluid levels, tire condition, and ensure the vehicle's interior and exterior cleanliness;

Job type: Full-time, Permanent (30 to 40 hours / week)

Education level : High School Diploma (general) (DES)

Job-related experience: An asset

Job Requirements

·Ability to lift heavy loads;

·Be responsible; dynamic;

·Have a good team spirit;

·Possess a valid driver's license;

·Ability to prioritize work;

·Have a strong sense of autonomy;

·Forklift operation (an asset);

·Availability to work a 5-day schedule;

·Have a good sense of direction;

·A good driving record is required and may be requested upon hiring;
