Flordeco is a Quebec company in constant evolution for more than 15 years. We aim to offer a varied range of products as well as a turnkey service to meet the needs of our customers. We now have 38 stores in Quebec and one in New Brunswick. We are specialized in flooring and decoration. We are currently looking for a dynamic person to fill the position of designer.

 Job Description

Our designers are creative, on the lookout for trends and have an eye for detail. They are present in stores to advise the customers in the different stages of their renovation process. The successful candidate will have to design custom decoration projects. The latter must be able to make home visits from time to time and ensure constant follow-up with the clientele. The designer's primary goal is to guide and advise customers by accompanying them through the buying process.

Main tasks

•  Respond to the specific needs of the clientele
• Advise the customer and make recommendations;
• Take and process phone calls;
• Track panel loans;
• Meet with clients to establish the concept, the presentation and the measurements
• Advise clients on color choices, materials, lighting, etc.;
• Storage of samples;
• Any other related task.

Job type: Full-time, Permanent

Education level: DEC in design and decoration and / or DES in interior design with relevant experience.

Years of experience related to the job offer: Minimum 2 years experience in a similar position in the retail trade.
