Flordeco Lévis – Déco Tendance is currently looking for a dynamic person to fill the position of Senior Sales Designer.


Flordeco is a Quebec-based company that has been steadily growing for over 18 years. Our goal is to offer a wide range of products as well as turnkey services to meet our customers’ needs. We now operate 36 stores across Quebec and one in New Brunswick. We specialize in flooring and interior décor. We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to fill the position of Designer.

Job Description:
Our designers are creative, trend-conscious, and detail-oriented. They work in-store to advise customers throughout the various stages of their renovation projects. The selected candidate will be responsible for designing personalized décor projects, occasionally conducting in-home visits, and maintaining consistent follow-up with clients. The designer’s primary objective is to guide and advise customers by supporting them throughout the purchasing process.

Main Responsibilities
• Respond to customers’ specific needs;
• Advise clients and make recommendations;
• Handle incoming and outgoing phone calls;
• Follow up on sample panel loans;
• Meet with clients to establish concepts, present designs, and take measurements;
• Advise clients on color selections, materials, lighting, etc.;
• Organize and store samples;
• Sales;
• Product presentation and sales;
• Read and calculate basic residential plans;
• Enter quotes into the database;
• Process payments;
• Meet with supplier representatives for training purposes;
• Support and seek out new prospects;
• Maintain store organization and cleanliness;
• Remove discontinued products;
• Update the sample list in client follow-up records on a weekly basis;
• Update price lists and product codes in collaboration with management;
• Update product labels.

Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent

Education: Diploma of College Studies (DEC) in Design and Decoration and/or High School Diploma (DES) in Interior Decoration with relevant experience.

Related Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar position in the retail sector.
